TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

Platforms

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you deposit.
