Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

The Bonus

TabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you deposit.

The complete breakdown, including regulation, withdrawals, read more pricing, and the bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
